Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Your receipts, documents, gift cards and codes are stored only on your device. There is no account and no cloud sync in the current version. The only optional exception is the opt-in AI parsing pass — and even then, only recognized text (with personal identifiers removed on-device) is sent, never your images.
Does it work in my country?
SaveMyDoc reads totals, VAT and dates across 15 markets — Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Ireland, the UK, the US, Switzerland, Australia and Canada — and shows every receipt in its own currency. The interface is available in 10 languages.
What does the free version include?
Up to 50 receipts and 20 documents, with unlimited gift cards, discount codes and QR codes, full spending insights, and CSV/image export. Premium unlocks unlimited receipts and documents plus full PDF export.
Can I really create QR codes and barcodes?
Yes. Beyond scanning and saving codes, you can create your own — Wi-Fi, links, contacts, text, email, phone, SMS, location and SEPA pay-me codes — all generated on your device, ready to share or print. Gift-card barcodes render as Code 128 or QR.
Does SaveMyDoc use AI?
Only if you ask it to. Scanning works fully on-device with Apple's text recognition. There is an optional AI pass for tricky receipts — it is off by default, requires your explicit consent, and personal identifiers are redacted on your device before any text is sent.
What happens if I delete something by mistake?
Deleted items move to Recently Deleted, where they can be restored for 14 days before being permanently removed.
When is it launching, and on which platforms?
Both stores are being prepared now — the iOS App Store release first, with the Android app feature-complete and headed for Google Play right behind it. Email hello@savemydoc.app to get a note at launch.
